OUR MAIN GOALS
Empowering 270 Young Participants
GENERATION+ is designed to directly engage 270 young people from different European countries, providing them with meaningful opportunities to participate in learning activities, structured dialogue, and advocacy initiatives. By involving young people in both local and transnational settings, the project promotes active citizenship, intercultural understanding, and collective action. Participants are encouraged to share their perspectives, exchange experiences, and contribute to discussions that shape more inclusive communities and policies.
Supporting Young People with Fewer Opportunities
Inclusion is a central priority of GENERATION+. The project actively ensures that 33 young participants with fewer opportunities, including those facing social, economic, educational, or cultural barriers, are fully involved in all activities. By removing obstacles to participation and creating accessible, supportive environments, the project reinforces equal opportunities for all. This approach strengthens social cohesion and ensures that voices often underrepresented in civic and political spaces are heard and valued.
Renewing Policy Discussions on LGBTQ+ Rights
One of the key ambitions of GENERATION+ is to contribute to the renewal and strengthening of policy discussions related to LGBTQ+ rights, equality, and social inclusion. Through structured debates, policy labs, and direct exchanges with decision-makers, the project creates opportunities for young people to formulate and present their own recommendations. These youth-driven contributions aim to influence local, national, and European policy agendas, ensuring that the realities and needs of LGBTQ+ communities are better reflected in decision-making processes.
Creating Safe Spaces for Dialogue
GENERATION+ is committed to establishing safe, inclusive, and supportive spaces where young people can openly discuss important issues such as identity, discrimination, mental wellbeing, equality, and inclusion. These spaces encourage honest dialogue, mutual respect, and the sharing of personal experiences, helping participants build trust and solidarity. By fostering open communication, the project promotes understanding and creates stronger connections among diverse groups of young people.
Promoting European Values
Through all its activities, GENERATION+ promotes and reinforces fundamental European values, including democracy, human dignity, equality, freedom, solidarity, and respect for human rights. The project encourages young people to reflect on their role as active European citizens and to engage in shaping a society based on justice and inclusion. Strengthening awareness of these shared values, GENERATION+ contributes to building a stronger sense of European identity and collective responsibility for a more equitable future.
